Kim Meltzer
DISTRICTState Rep. Kim Meltzer was elected to a first term in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2006 representing residents of Clinton, Macomb and Ray townships.
EDUCATIONMeltzer graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor's degree in political science, and has continued educational certifications from Michigan State University in urban and rural planning.
PROFESSIONALMeltzer is a small-business owner of an automotive manufacturing company in Romeo.
PAST PUBLIC OFFICES AND AFFILIATIONSMeltzer served on the Clinton Township Board from 2000 to 2004. Her community involvement includes: Board of Directors of the Macomb Family YMCA, and board of directors of the Clinton Township Area Optimist Club.
She has volunteered at the grassroots level on many congressional, state and local races and has been a long-time volunteer at school events and in the classroom.
PERSONALMeltzer has been married to Clarence Meltzer for 20 years and has three children.
