The third annual Ag Day at the Capitol, co-chaired by State Rep. Dave Hildenbrand, was a success with more than 30 organizations and associations representing the various agriculture commodity groups in Michigan. "Ag Day gives Michigan farmers an opportunity to connect with their legislators and showcase their goods, while promoting one of Michigan's most vital industries," said Hildenbrand, R-Lowell.

Agriculture is Michigan's second-largest industry, contributing more than $60 billion in economic activity to the state.
