SAVE TIME WITH NEW ROAD REPAIR MAP -- CAUL

As Michigan's summer road projects get underway, state Rep. Bill Caul is offering a free road construction map to make traveling more convenient for mid-Michigan motorists.

The annual state highway construction map is now available from the Michigan Department of Transportation. The guide is updated each year to help motorists locate major road and bridge projects across the state.

"Whether for your daily commute to work or a weekend trip Up North, this comprehensive guide can save you lots of time and unnecessary headaches," said Caul, R-Mount Pleasant. "We all realize that a good infrastructure is a key ingredient for a better economy and more jobs, and this guide will help us better navigate the annual construction season."

"Residents also should check the MDOT Web site for a regularly updated list of lane closures," Caul said. "The site includes an interactive map showing current and planned construction projects throughout the state."
